It is known that Samsung is working on a new device in the Galaxy Tab Active, and the device, which is referred to as the Galaxy Tab Active 2, has the adoption of the FCC and was monitored in the benchmarking lists.
Now some information about the device has been confirmed. According to the online user guide, the device will come with a Samsung Pixby assistant on the home page, and the device will have a removable battery. Also according to the userguid the device will contain an electronic pen, a fingerprint sensor and a USB-C port.
According to GFXBench, the device will work with the Exynos 7870 processor, powered by 3 GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. It will come with a 8-inch screen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera and will run the Android OS Nougat 7.1.1.
Recent leaked information on Twitter indicates that the device will come with IP68 standard for water and dust resistance, a screen brightness of 480 nit and the presence of an electronic pen.
