Samsung Galaxy E5 Review

Recently, the most famous company of Korea, Samsung has announced its next mid-range Smartphone, the Galaxy E5. And they’ve assure, it will be available in the local market very soon. Nevertheless, the announcement has come pretty alongside with the announcement of Galaxy E7. So, we can expect both of those device will be kind of similar. And the Galaxy E5 will also be mentioned as Samsung SM-E500F.

The upcoming Galaxy E5 will be features an amazing 5-inch display which will be configured with Super AMOLED 720p screen. That phone will be backed by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 processor. And for delicate use, it will facilitate you with 1.5GB of RAM. The battery power will be 2400 mAh and internal storage space will be expandable up to 16 GB. Samsung TouchWiz UI is the operating system of that device, which is a customized version of Android KitKat.

The new Samsung Galaxy E5’s dimensions will be 151 x 77.2 x 7.3 mm, which is slightly thinner and smaller than the pretty alike Galaxy E7. The thickness of Galaxy E5 is 0.28 inches, where Galaxy E7’s is 0.29 inches. The weight of Galaxy E5 is not so surprising, which is 140 g. But it is an average weight of that type of Smartphones. We still don’t know it E5 will be dust or water resistant or not, but we can hope so from Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy E5

Galaxy E5 will come with a somewhat cool 5 inches of screen, which has 720 x 1280 pixels. That means, Galaxy E5 is little smaller than the E7’s 5.5 inches display. The Galaxy E5 has a pixel density of 294 ppi and both devices incorporate Super AMOLED technology and include features such as multitouch, a light sensor, and a proximity sensor.

The rear facing camera of Galaxy E5 is around 8 megapixels and the front facing camera is 5 megapixels. The front facing camera is just amazing, which is simply perfect for taking selfies. The rear facing camera carries features like smile detection, touch to focus, Geo tagging, auto focus etc.

On the inside the  Samsung SM-E500F carries Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 system chip, a Quad core, 1200 MHz, ARM Cortex-A53 processor  and an Adreno 306 graphics processor. These are the same inside specifications of the Galaxy E7 as well. To round off the device we have 1536 MB RAM, 16 GB internal storage and microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC expandable storage of up to 64 GB. 1 gigabyte of RAM less than the E7 model.
