The SK Hynix Company is started producing the 72-layer 3D NAND flash memory with a wide range

SK Hynix is starting the production of the fourth-generation NAND flash layers (72-layer) and had achieved the so-called Golden Return.

The production of the (72-layer 3D NAND )will be increased up to 30% compared to the previous method, and that will be similar to Samsung's fourth-generation memory-64- layer 3D NAND production, which had been produced in June.

The flash memory SK Hynix 3D NAND layer is considered as a product which is calling (multi level cell) that saves 2 bits per cell. The TLC product has a better production cost. The number of stacks in the 72-layer 3D NAND is higher than the 48-layer flash memory by 1.5.

The SK Hynix company had been improved its production by 30% through increasing the maximum limit of its current production stations. Also, The SK Hynix company had been doubled the operating speed by adapting quickly application in circuit design inside the layers. so, the ability of reading and writing had been increased by 20%.

While about the SK Hynix application which is related to control software and firmware to its TLC NAND. That is considered as approve of the significant increase in their competitiveness of its interconnected technologies.

SK Hynix is currently producing a large-scale 72-layer 3D NAND flash memory from Cheongju's M-12 production factory and the company is planning for production of a NAND 3D memory layer on the second floor of M 14,n that is its new factory in Incheon, during the third quarter of this year.

We expect that the percentage of production of 3D NAND flash memory will exceed by 50% at the end of this year.
